Our Core Privacy Principle

We cannot see, access, or store the data you put into Left In Peace. The application runs entirely on your USB drive. Your encrypted data never touches our servers because Left In Peace doesn't connect to the internet.

Information We Collect

When You Purchase

To process your order, we collect:

  • Name and email address
  • Shipping address (for physical products)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we don't store card details)

When You Contact Us

If you reach out for support, we collect:

  • Name and email address
  • Any information you choose to include in your message

Website Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use our website. It counts visits and pages; it does not identify you or collect personal information.

Facebook (Meta) Advertising

We advertise on Facebook. To see which of our ads lead to orders, our website uses Meta's measurement tool (the Meta Pixel), which can set a cookie in your browser. When you place an order, we also tell Meta that a purchase happened: the order amount and a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email, name, city, state and ZIP code, so Meta can match it to an ad you saw without receiving those details in readable form.

This is only about our website and your order. Nothing you store in Left In Peace is ever shared, because we never have it.

Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Anything you enter into the Left In Peace application
  • Your PIN, word patterns, or access keys
  • Your passwords, financial information, or personal messages
  • Any data stored on your USB drive

This is by design. Left In Peace is a completely offline application. We have no technical ability to access your data even if we wanted to.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfill your order
  • Send order confirmations and shipping updates
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Improve our website and products

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Shipping carriers: To deliver physical products
  • Email service providers: To send transactional emails
  • Meta (Facebook): Order amount and scrambled contact details, to measure our ads (see above)

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your order information. However, we want to emphasize: the most sensitive information — what you store in Left In Peace — never reaches us. It's encrypted on your USB drive with AES-256-GCM and stays completely offline.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we have about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Opt out of marketing communications
